FALL INSPIRATION
PLEASE NOTE: OPENING TIME NOW AT 9:00
Grace and Gratitude leads the way with stunning etched pumpkins, gracefully decorated with the leaves and flowers of the season. The etching heals over, co-owner Kayleigh Felderman says, so pumpkins last two weeks to two months. At the end of the season, you can make soups and stews from your pumpkin. Edible decorating at its finest.
Grace and Gratitude offers workshops to learn how to etch a pumpkin every Sunday afternoon in October. Sign up at the market. Look for dried flowers and wreaths as well.
Look for more fall inspiration from Zinnia Girls, whose late-season flowers and pods, picked fresh from the field, seem to last and last. That’s another benefit of buying straight from the grower.
Our farmers are still harvesting tomatoes and eggplant, along with the first fall vegetables. During this shoulder season, you can stride two seasons. Now is a good time to preserve, bake, and freeze.
See you Saturday. Fall for the seasons.
